We acknowledge the Indigenous peoples whose land we are on today. These are the twelve Bands of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation: Chelan, Colville, Entiat, Lakes, Methow, Moses- Columbia, Nespelem, Chief Joseph Band of the Nez Perce, Okanogan, Palus, San Poil, and p’squosa(Wenatchi). They trace their ancestors on this land back more than 10,000 years. They practiced earth stewardship and sustainability in the past and continue to care for the land and waters today. We are grateful for the Native peoples who live and work among us. May we work together for a sustainable world.
