The North Central Washington Audubon Society Board is a completely volunteer organization. We have no paid staff or office space. We rely on your generous donations to fund the wide variety of work we do.
At times we need volunteer help to hold an activity. For example, each session of What’s That Bird? is run by three to five people. We frequently have one or two volunteers to help Board members conduct these sessions.
Occasionally we ask for volunteer support at festivals, bird walks, or other activities. Look for What’s That Bird? next at the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival in September—if we make it. Our long-time, regular volunteers and presenters are getting old. We need a volunteer with a pickup truck and canopy, some muscle to haul around and set up our tent, and others to help guide visitors through the bird hunt and around the display tables.
