eBird checklists document over 330 bird species in the North Central Washington Audubon Society four-county area. We are fortunate that many skilled photographers also reside here and are willing to share their images. This gallery hosts photos of many of the bird species you might see in North Central Washington. It is hoped that you will find the images useful and enjoyable.

A goal of this photo gallery is to show you photographic examples of the bird species in Chelan, Okanogan, Douglas, and Ferry counties. In a few cases, photos taken in different areas are included. If a photo was taken outside the NCWAS area, it is noted by an “*” in the thumbnail image, and the area where the photo was taken is noted in the larger view of the bird.
