2021 was a record-breaking year for entering bird species into eBird. The results of all your efforts within the NCWAS four-county area are in.

By the numbers:

• 1,061 people contributed to eBird in 2021
• The observers contributed a total of 17,931 checklists to eBird
• Data submitted to eBird came from 4,403 locations
• 277 species were documented (2020 had 270 species recorded)
